And then I'm out of credits usage since I'm using the free version and the previous model arrives and suddenly I'm facing someone with a personality disorder. How's yours doing?
I was also using the free version. After a long communication on some technical issue, it suddenly lost all the context that was build in so many questions & answers. It felt like if a human has memory loss. I was in no mood to build the whole context again communicating with it, nor I am willing to pay of paid version.

@ABCDEF7 yes it's strange, I'd assume too that its memory lasts forever but it isn't so. It also forgets things.
It's like your partner got drunk or high and killed a few brain cells, haha

@ViciDraco yeah forgetting things and doing things another way, then I'm talking about it and it's response "I understand, would you want to do that now (suggests something random)?"
@SW-User regardless of the version there is something called a max token limit. This is how much of the historical conversation it can "keep in memory" during a conversation. So even with the new model it will do this eventually, it just takes longer. When it runs past the token limit it just forgets the oldest stuff.
Getting it summarize things you've talked about every now and then can help keep a rough outline in its memory though it will still lose details. It does help some with cohesion.

@ViciDraco aha I will now confront the liar! He made me believe that he can remember everything huh 🤣
