i know why people ghost!

it is polite to let the person know you aren't interested in them, even though it is difficult. BUT BUT BUT! please don't leave them a long mean letter in response to your rejection. they could have just blocked and ignored you! try to be gracious. this is a person you are talking to. especially, if you just met them. why get so angry? why assume the worst? it's a wonder i wont ghost the next person i don't want because im afraid of making them angry and sending me a long, hurtful message? 😔👻

I think people ghost because they lose interest & we honestly don't owe anything to anyone.. especially someone we didn't even reach a real relationship status with. Yeah I agree that it's nicer to let them know you're not interested but that conversation isn't always easy because that means you gotta tell them why, & that part is hard because it feels mean.

I understand both sides I guess. I get why people ghost & I get why that bothers people. But at the end of the day we don't owe anything to anybody, & nobody owes anything to us. I used to ghost people sometimes & it never bothered me if I got ghosted myself 🤷 it sucks a bit but if they didn't like me then that's okay. Can't force it

@ChiefJustWalks EXACTLY. I've seen people write, Don't ghost, it's selfish and mean etc. but....is just losing touch selfish??? No. Is not writing out why you feel you can't talk any longer , due to literally getting anxious about how you're going to let someone down, mean? I don't think so. Some people are very shy, and it literally causes me physical sensations to confront someone. Not as much in text, but somewhat. I definitely don't expect everyone I ever talk to to always respond to me, and if they don't, to tell me why too. 😧

People ghost cause they want to detach without the drama .. it's super rude but they are silently dissing the person.. at least they didn't go off and throw a fit or insult them to their face by whatever offended or disinterested them 😒 ah well does one really want to know why someone dislikes them or wants to avoid them so much? 😳 perhaps.. perhaps not
