Apparently it's something mostly women do where they keep their boyfriend or girlfriend 'hidden' (ie. pocketed) from friends and family, almost like the person is very insecure about having a romantic partner.

I've never heard the term, but only noted males doing it when they get sex from someone they're embarrassed to be dating
