What's wrong with my girlfriend ?

I noticed that my girlfriend had been acting strange lately she was upset yesterday today she seems to panic a little she was crying off and on almost all day we went out on our date yesterday she didn't wanna go in the store she wanted to sit in the car when we got in the store she stood in one place and looked around like she was scared like she never been there before even though we go almost every week. Today she was doing a little better wanted to get out more I noticed she was tense up when she breaths she's still for a few minutes then breathes out heavy she's been doing this all day honestly I'm worried she also shakes a little when she's breathing not sure if it's panic attack or what it is it's not seizures she doesn't have them she's never had them her whole life. She breaths in them holds it in for a bit starts shaking then breathes out heavily she's been doing it all day she's never done this that I noticed. She does have asthma and heart condition it's not when she's walking only when she's sitting or laying down is the only time she does it. She does have really bad anxiety she gets panicked easily she's also autistic littlest things upset or scare her even when it's really nothing to be upset about that's how her anxiety is. She has medicine she takes for her asthma she takes it everyday especially in winter when it gets bad I always keep an eye on her when she takes it sometimes she forgets. She acts like she's cold yet she's not. She said she's never done this before I never seen her do it we been together for almost a year maybe she's still upset about yesterday usually it takes her awhile to get over things because of her autism and mental health. What could be wrong with her ? Could it be a breathing issue or panic attack ?

Your girlfriend has been exhibiting concerning behavior, including:

Unexplained anxiety and panic:
She seems unusually anxious, panicky, and easily upset.

Unusual breathing patterns:
She's experiencing a strange breathing pattern where she holds her breath, shakes, and then exhales heavily. This is new and concerning, especially given her existing anxiety.

Possible physical symptoms:
She's acting cold despite the temperature, which could be a symptom of anxiety or a physical issue.

Possible Causes:

Anxiety and Panic Attacks:
Her existing anxiety may be escalating, potentially triggered by a recent event (like the store incident yesterday). The breathing pattern could be related to hyperventilation or a panic attack.

Asthma Exacerbation:
While she takes medication, her asthma could be worsening, especially in the colder weather. This could contribute to her breathing difficulties and anxiety.

Underlying Medical Condition:
It's possible that an underlying medical condition, unrelated to asthma, is causing these symptoms.

What to Do:

Observe and Document:
Continue to monitor her closely. Note the frequency and severity of her breathing episodes, any other symptoms (chest pain, dizziness), and any potential triggers.

Encourage her to see a doctor:
Explain her symptoms to her and urge her to schedule a doctor's appointment.

Provide Support:
Offer emotional support and reassurance. Let her know you're concerned and there for her.

Limit Stressors:
Help her minimize stress as much as possible.

It's crucial for your girlfriend to consult a medical professional for proper diagnosis and treatment.
