Why is polyamory so looked down on?

Social norms. Same reason why people look down on anyone not straight. Not really anything rational or logical about it.
I don't judge and if it works for you that is great.
I personally have not seen many poly relationships that worked but that was because of the people involved not the relationship dynamic. lol
