Have you been stood up on a date?

I was supposed to meet a guy for lunch and drinks but as the time of our meet was nearing he disappeared from the chat. I did not go to the place fortunately - since he stopped responding, I figured he wasn't going to show up.
What are your experiences?

I've been stood up once. We talked heavily up to the hour leading to the meet. I got to the place, texted a few times and waited maybe 30minutes? Then i went home.

Never figured out why it happened but turned me off of dating for a little bit. I really hate the ghosting that is common now a days. I'd rather someone be blunt.

@Zachanr Yeah she could have at least had the courtesy to tell you she is not interested in meeting. I don't understand why people say yes when they mean no 🙄

@solitaire For sure. Dating is just so difficult now. Too many secrets and a lot of apps at least are just swipes. No one takes the time to get to know anyone 😂
