Have you been stood up on a date?

I was supposed to meet a guy for lunch and drinks but as the time of our meet was nearing he disappeared from the chat. I did not go to the place fortunately - since he stopped responding, I figured he wasn't going to show up.
What are your experiences?

Maybe you stood him up, he wasn't responding because he was traveling to the meetup with you?

@Dignaga I don't stand people up. If I am not interested in meeting I tell them upfront. He still has not checked his messages. I have met quite a few people in person and I know I've been stood up today.
