Have you been stood up on a date?

I was supposed to meet a guy for lunch and drinks but as the time of our meet was nearing he disappeared from the chat. I did not go to the place fortunately - since he stopped responding, I figured he wasn't going to show up.
What are your experiences?

Never said it's cool but it's expected for people to get cold feet because they probably misrepresented themselves in some way & don't know how to handle that
