What should a first date be? Should it be cheap/safe/easy or expensive/risky ?

I'd go with the the cheap/safe/easy approach as a first date is a man's way to decide if he wants to invest more into a connection with the other person.

Do women on first dates think the same? I'm betting that by and large they don't.
