Why Do Most Women Think, their past (i.e their sexual history) doesn’t/shouldnt matter to the man they are currently Dating?

Any good reasons

The past does matter, regardless whether you agree or not. Every single past sexual encounter matters because every single sexual activity increases the risk of STD/STI for the new partner and as a new partner, I want to know what kind of risk I am exposing myself with that person.

But that past is just as important for women as it is for men. It is not the sole prerogative of men to know how many partners their sexual partner had in the past but it is a 2-way street.

Health is a concern for all sexual partners and not only for one single gender as the question suggests.

True....so imagine you asking a man about his past, and he tells you, it doesn't matter, bcos what matters is the present,

How would you take it...will you want to commit to him...regardless?
