Sugar Babies; Does it lead to a happy life?

I find the whole sugar daddy/baby situation depressing. Don't people want to be able to take care of themselves? Don't they want to have a feeling of accomplishment in doing a good job? Are there not any things other in life besides material things or pampering that bring meaning to their lives?

Also, they would have to hang out with other sugar babies because normal people are working and doing things.

I just think it would be such an empty, boring life.

I think there's a certain percentage of people who aren't even truly able to take care of themselves, grow on their own and create new valuable things in life. So their options are either slaving in a dead end low wage job or make themselves attractive enough to be able to attach themselves to someone else like a tick and if it's someone rich, they at least enjoy some luxuries in life.
I can't imagine taking such path myself but kind of understand why some women do that.
Living an honest, self-reliant life doesn't guarantee happiness and perhaps they are aware of that.
