Guys, what would you do if you thought a guy was bugging a girl in public but she said she wasn't bothered?

Would you apologize or what? I always wondered.

If she said she wasn't bothered I'd apologize and say I misread the situation.

Even if she was afraid, she wouldn't dare to say that I'm front of the guy she's scared of.
