Real life kisses vs movie kisses

Is there an overlap, ever? Or are movie kisses just meant to look good to the audience rather than mouth open and tongues just randomly flopping against each other? So far I've only experienced the latter and I don't find it stimulating, attractive or arousing, at all. While movie kisses look more sensual, taking their time to really feel the other person.

Was I just unlucky so far in terms of kissing partners (for me, don't want to judge anyone here who enjoy the kissing style mentioned above) or do I simply have the wrong expectations of kissing?

@Villanelle Oh, didn't think it was that deep from the way you worded it. Well if it's a deep problem then you do have my empathy, and I hope you'll find someone that you love enough where the kissing style either matches or doesn't matter to you anymore.
