Why are we women, pay on dates?

My money and car. I’m giving a good favor of buying your company, I don’t want second date. Absolutely no reason to kiss and tell and most of all, no fvcking.

I don't get what does "buying you company" mean... You supposedly go on a date with someone you like and likes you back. If you want to treat the other person you can offer, if he wants to treat you can accept it or you can both pay your share if that's more fair and makes you both comfortable. As for the more personal stuff and getting closer, it's your choice and can change from person to person and your mood. All these "rules" are stupid and don't allow people to be their authentic selves.

@basilfawlty89 nowadays some people are sneaky because they can say "I don't have cash I will pay with card" and then tell the waiter that they will pay for everything and you can't do anything in that moment 😪 but then I can try to sneak in some cash in their pockets 😏 the struggles

I'm old fashioned.. when I take a woman out on a date I pay for everything and I don't expect to fvck at the end..

I do.. I see dating a lovely woman as a privilege, sharing her time with me , allowing me to express my interest and allowing her to get a feeling for who I am and what kind of relationship we might have, whether a close friendship or a romantic relationship.

At one time, I was firmly of the belief that he should be the one to pay for the first date and I the second and so forth... however, I figured out how restrictive that method is once you add in etiquette - so I would rather pay my own way and get the food and drink that I want without having to worry about if he thinks I am too expensive or cheap.

@Sepia Well tbh it’s virtually all men. They may not expect it on the first date but of course that is the reason why both people are in the date.

They’re both expecting something from the other, if it goes well.
The man expects to get with the girl physically. The girl expects to be pampered, given things for free, and to be taken care of by the man of they get together.
That just how the game works.
Romance and love are great too, but this is still the way it’s always worked.

Modern rules are different because times have changed. We both work, we are both equal, we both don't want to be taken advantage of. We both date for the sake of dating and not marriage. The times of old are long gone
