What really happens if a person is TOO picky about dating and appearances?

My friends tell me I’m way too picky and never satisfied with men that are interested in me or who I date. Average men make better boyfriends and good looking men are the worst kind of partners. That’s probably why I never get a second date. Okay so I’m a little picky but I just know what the hell I want. I want a man I can rely on, that treats me right and will be there for me and honest and I can trust. Also there has to be an attraction. Just going to be honest about that.
The guy I’m seeing we had our second date so jokes on them! He’s cute and good looking but he seems very charming and we have good chemistry so far. We’re taking things slow and getting to know each other. My friends think my date will have other girls but what do they know?
