Are smartphones being used for mind control?

I don't think we have come to mind control......yet. But some aps do have the ability to turn the mic on and people may listen in on private conversations. Everywhere you go, your phone connects with towers along the way so movement can be tracked. I think the worst thing about smart phones is the instant visual stimulation, many people are living their life through their phone. If you sit down to dinner at a restaurant with a group, everyone sits, then the phones come out. Instead of having an actual conversation with someone, people are stuck in the cyber world by their own choice.
