Are smartphones being used for mind control?

Look at the number of people whose entire life view comes from the phone and social-media comments. Less interested in talking to people around them and would rather be immersed in their phone. With the ability to manipulate social media, it is safe to say, YES

I don't think we have come to mind control......yet. But some aps do have the ability to turn the mic on and people may listen in on private conversations. Everywhere you go, your phone connects with towers along the way so movement can be tracked. I think the worst thing about smart phones is the instant visual stimulation, many people are living their life through their phone. If you sit down to dinner at a restaurant with a group, everyone sits, then the phones come out. Instead of having an actual conversation with someone, people are stuck in the cyber world by their own choice.

I dont know about control but for analyzation and tracking for sure

Its the media and social sites that are used for mind control via propaganda and such.. controlling opinions via intentionally served news views or lack thereof

they are being used to spread very authentic looking lies to the slightlu dumb people thus making a very dangerous society
