Should you be allowed to give your number to someone who you don't know about if they're single or taken?

SunshineBlues · 22-25, F
It's not a big deal . I did it once. They never called back but it was worth a shot .
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@SunshineBlues what's the intention then if there is a reply, be it herself or him having gotten the number from her?
SunshineBlues · 22-25, F
@scooogy to get to know each other a little bit better before deciding if you're compatible .
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@SunshineBlues wait, i mean either her or her boyfriend messaging me without me knowing it is actually.
Yes, you have the right to do that.
It's up to the other to accept or not.
Never assume if someone is single or taken and that is assuming the other is not snogging someone else at the time. It's up to the other.
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
Well yes. Here's a thought: they might actually be interested in talking with you again and not want to be your lover!
ArishMell · 70-79, M
"Allowed"?

There's nothing to stop you except your own commonsense and respect.
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@ArishMell I had a woman's boyfriend unexpectedly attack me verbally via phone after I gave my number to her.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@scooogy I'm afraid there is nothing to stop such behaviour other than you ignoring him as best you can. It might best to block their numbers if you can do that.
CestManan · 46-50, F
Just give your number. Even if they ARE taken, they might be more interested in you :D
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@CestManan sounds like drama to follow then
CestManan · 46-50, F
@scooogy Well I mean, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

In "dating" why should anyone interfere in others business? Especially if it's already legal.

If it becomes illegal I’m not sure how they’d enforce it
