How do people end up hating their exes?

I am on good terms with all my exes. One gives me unfriendly vibe, but she gave a ride when my car was in a repair shop, so I can't call her unfriendly either.

Depends on the circumstances of the breakup really. If there was abuse or infidelity involved, it's understandable.
