Just looking through the pics of women on a fb dating group

and I don't envy any man trying to find a woman that way. Some of the women there are SO heavily filtered that it's anyone's guess what they actually look like. They may as well be wearing balaclavas 😂

That’s why you should do the reverse…exaggerate your weight and use a just woke up unfiltered photo…then when you turn up for the date they will be blown away, and you’ll have filtered out all of the shallow pricks

@Fairydust Problem is that when there are so many tools that are easy to use for altering photo, there is a lot of temptation to do so.

Fortunately it is easy to tell unless someone has actual skills in something like photoshop. I have such skills but my own photos that get heavily doctored I do not show off because it isn't really how I look.

Who wouldn't want to put a nice picture up anyway? I guess dating these days doesn't involve actually meeting like it used to, so getting caught out by an over flattering photo won't be a problem🤔

Some of the filters are scary. It changes up your whole face structure. It doesn’t just add make up like most people think. My girl and I were looking at them lastnight and noticed how it made our faces and nose smaller. One even made my nose so narrow it looked unnatural. I can see how they can come off as a catfish thing, and even make it to where you can’t view yourself without them if you use them regularly.

I will say that there are a lot of men who use photos from years ago on those apps or where they look quite different too. Weight wise/hair wise and that also makes a difference on the appearance as well. I’ve met a lot of men who look better in the photos they uploaded than in person due to it not being a recent/current photo.

I feel like these people who filter their pics must have such a bad opinion of the way they look. They will never be able to meet any of the guys in person because they will never be able to live up to their filtered pics.

My current although she maybe my ex right now, who knows, filters all her pictures through Snapchat. I've told her on many occasion it's just a fantasy how she looks in them. But she won't have it and says it's how she looks. Seriously it's not and to me she's deluded.

I’ve always preferred “au naturale” with as little makeup at all, if any.
Sure when you go out or a special occasion it’s nice to get dolled up, but I don’t like when I kiss a woman and end up with makeup all over my face 🤡

Yea these filters are so wierd. Using one for fun with puppy ears is ok.
Slightly touching up your Linked in Profile pic is ok.
Heavily editing every photo you take is wierd and wrong.
