Have you ever dreamed of something and it came true at a future date?

@cherokeepatti Impressive. As a teen I would be very scared of things I could not logically explain.

@SW-User it was a death dream and it came true within a few hours happened several other times within 2 years with relatives. But I also have had dreams not morbid that came true, even traveling dreams.

@cherokeepatti I have something more like "visions" when I am awake. I had a warning about one death...my Uncle's suicide, when I was 11 years old. It's so odd and weird when it happens, when you hear that voice telling you what will be...that it's like a bell ringing.

@4meAndyou I have had warnings before things have happened. Flashing lights like a star in one eye when someone needed help, a persistent flashing like every few minutes. Till I found out what it was for. Sometimes it’s just an overwhelming feeling, like before 9-11 happened I felt that something huge was going to happen & I felt like climbing the walls because the feeling was building more each day. My older sister called the Sunday before it happened & I told her something was going to happen I didn’t know what it was but it was going to be big. She basically blew me off saying there was enough to worry about without thinking of the future (like I was making it up). The day after 9-11 happened she called me after I got home from work saying “You were right, you were right” and I told her I’d never tell her another thing like that again because she basically dismissed what I said when I told her.

@4meAndyou that kind of reaction is why I rarely talk about my dreams to people. If I feel a need to share something with someone I do though, like a dream before the Persian Gulf war started when someone’s brother was in a POW camp. I prayed for him & a lucid dream that night. I told him in front of others that he shouldn’t be surprised to hear from him soon. (I don’t know why I said it like that, I also described the dream before I did), this was on a Saturday and on Monday he received a letter from his brother who was still in the POW camp that had been forward by the International Red Cross. When he was released I had a dream of him being taken on bus back to his home country & I felt the cool air as the bus went through the mountain towns.

@cherokeepatti sometimes dreams are more than just conscious chatter.

@cherokeepatti I hope you know all of the bad people, by now, and avoid them.

@4meAndyou If I get a hint that someone is bad I avoid them. I don’t have the energy to deal with them, they are energy vampires.
