Have you tried internet dating? If so, what was your experience like?

I tried Tinder, but it was a total dead zone. SO MANY VENMO TAGS!!!

I've never had the need to date like that and probably wouldn't anyways. But I know someone who has and he got burned pretty badly.

I tried it after my divorce. I went on a lot of dates, didn't really like anyone except one guy who I dated a few months. It became annoying and I would dread going on first dates so I stopped.

I'm on POF and a few others. No one seems to actually want to date.

No one has murdered me yet, and I’ve made dates from at a minimum the following: Facebook, experience project, whisper, reddit, Tinder, POF, OKC, and a short lived (I assume) variant of Matchmaker targeted at teens when I was 18. I’m excluding Fet Life because that wasn’t really a dating profile.

ETA: I met a woman on Zoosk and dated for 15 minutes a couple years ago, too.

During art school (back during the age of dinosaurs) I was on chat rooms quite a lot. When my ex and I broke up I ended up going on those to meet people and date. Most times it worked out pretty legit but there was always a few where you were asking yourself "what was I thinking?"

I haven’t tried it, as I was married before I had internet....but I would if I was single.
The question I’d have would be what site to use, as I’m bisexual.....right now I’m more attracted to men, so I might go on a gay dating site, but at another time I might not.

Never again.

Lots of younger women are just looking for Instagram followers.
Lots of older women are looking for daddies for their kids.
Quite depressing dating after 40.

From my experience online dating is good for one night stands and short-term relationships.
But I think if u want the real thing face to face is the way to go.

I have used POF, and OKCupid, and I had pleasant experiences.
