@Straylight @SW-User lol yeah. I have a lot of weird first date stories. Well not a lot of weird ones, because that was probably the worse ones. The other ones weren’t bad the guys were just cringy. That one the guy wanted to go on a date to this hiking ground thing we have here. It’s really popular, and neither of us have ever been before. So he thought it would be a cool experience. We get there, and he didn’t realize it was 4 dollars a person. He thought it’d be free. He said he only had 13 bucks in his bank account and he was 29 at the time. 😬 it was super awkward. He had a lot of other red flags, but I ignored them. This one was kind of the last straw for me. 😂 I wasn’t going to spend my money when you asked me out. It’d be different if the situation was different. I’d pay under different circumstances, but that was a no go. We’re still friends tho 🤣 we follow each other on snap. He had a lot of other weird problems too. He’s an art major so was broke and in a lot of debt.

@Straylight That’s what I’m saying. Also, if you’re that low in life you might want to be focusing on other things rather than dates. 😅 it was really just the whole situation with him that was bad not even so much the date part just everything.

I’m a simple person honestly, and you can do a lot on dates without spending any money and it still be fun and memorable. One of my favorite dates I went on was at the park, and we bought lunch and drinks, and drew and exchanged music with each other the whole time. It was nice.

@SW-User 🤔 maybe you’re different than what I think in person. Do you have a date you enjoyed a lot ? Or were they all basic ? I feel like most dates are kind of basic unless you get creative or think outside the box. Or unless something weird or funny happens during them.

@Stark i go really basic for first dates, like coffee/tea. i just wanna get a feel for the other person without risking a whole lot lol.

@SW-User I mean what do you consider to be elaborate? I don’t think putting thought into the date means it has to be elaborate. I would just do something fun based off of what we both have an interest in considering you’ve spoken a bit before actually going on a date lol. I don’t think you have to spend a lot of money or have a fancy date for it to be fun and creative. I think the more thought you put into it then it’s likely to increase the chances of you guys having a good time.
