@dancingtongue it's not feminism. But he has been pushing to go out with me and see me but he finally got the chance n doesn't do the basic stuff. I won't point it out to him but I won't get in a relationship with him

The big clue is who suggested meeting for ice cream. If he suggested, he should automatically expect to pay and gender isn't an issue. If she suggested, offer to go Dutch.
