Virtual/Online Companions?

Do individuals really utilize this? I read an article that people use this service for conversations or just to have someone to talk to. Not for sexual interaction but because they are lonely or just enjoy the conversation.

@greenknight I mean with actual people. A person signs up to be the companion and chats with the person that selects them. Both are real people.

@MistressMaev Be aware that sexual interaction is almost always expected in paid for interactions.. and you better hope it is because when it's not, it's something even more difficult.
