What do you think if you see these things on dating profiles?

• If someone has been single for 7-8 years and has been on dating apps the whole time

• If the person's pics on his online dating profiles are 5+ years old

• If the person is mid-late 20s and listed their job on their dating profile as DoorDash/Grub Hub/Uber Eats/etc.

What do you think?

Also, if someone seems attractive and nice, but has not been on a date in several years, is that a red flag or maybe just picky/bad luck/etc.?

My kids found a profile about me on Plenty of Fish dating web site a few years ago!!! The thing is that I didn't open a profile on that web site!!! Yes it was a picture of me, standing in front of my house, with my cat in the backround, but it was a picture taken of me by someone else, not a selfie! And I know who that person is!!! I ended our friendship, so I think that to get back at me she did that!

Its not so simple.

Many dating apps / sites don't delete profiles which are no longer active / actively in use (i.e. tried match, got no results in a year, left that site, but profile is still up)

Some people haven't been on a date because none of the people they met were worth the time / effort. Others haven't been on a date because they don't meet the requirements of their would-be dates (i.e. not tall enough, not rich enough, etc).

You'd have to see what they have going on to determine if it's a red flag

I have no experience, and I'm not gonna look down on someone else for having no experience either

If someone is attractive and nice, but they have no experience, there's literally no issue unless you invent one to shit on them

This isn't a job application and having tons of experience bouncing around isn't a good thing lol

Why don't you give the person a chance and try talking to the person and giving him a chance to warm up to a conversation instead of shutting him down and (falsely) claiming he is socially awkward? Now, the Door Dash job is a warning sign, I would say and probably an indication you are entering a high maintenance zone.

Single for many years is fine, it means they cared enough to be honest about it and it doesn't have to be any flag.
For the rest, I mean the photos need to be updated. That's basically catfish I can't travel back in time.

And idc about the job when I start talking to someone. Then they tell you everything, men like to yap a lot

Or haven't bothered to chase dates?

I’ve been on dating apps for years. I think I’m just not that interesting

Being on dating apps for 7-8 years and still being single is crazy work so I’d be suspicious
