What would make you want to pay for services on a dating site ?
I've been there done that tried it a few times with minimal (i'd categorise it as poor to disastrous) results.
eHarmony keeps trying to make me re-join by flipping between offering me 40 and 60 pct off (but the catch is always that it auto-renews at full rate!). If I was offered say 75 pct off I may re-consider but I think that's unlikely.
I've tried being a paid up member of POF, and Australian site RSVP, and Zoosk, and even Tinder for a little while.
Guess what? Nothing positive (for me) happened. Chatted to some people, had a smattering of first dates, even dated one person for a few months, but always ending in epic reminders of Aldi special buys. 8-) Got more than my fair share of bot-triggered spam 'first contacts' made to me which all were very easy to spot romance baiting scams.
So lets just say I'm a fully 'subscribed' member of Team Sceptic (and yeah btw that's a really good youtube channel that has nothing to do with dating).
