How do I get started using dating apps?

I would like to know what are some good apps to use for dating. I’m interested in starting but have no idea. What are some general dos and don’ts when it comes to online dating? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@DeWayfarer EH is one of the worst. POF = Plenty Of Fakes. Tinder = online version of Contiki traffic light dating for people under about 30 only.

@zonavar68 someone years ago recommended them. I have yet to find anything worth while. And yes decades ago I was on POF as well as others.

You wouldn't catch me on anything of tinders. I tried kik years ago though, which is the same age thing.
