Online dating is definitely brutal for most men(even more so I guess for young men). Do you agree?

I have been using dating apps like tinder, Hinge and Bumble since June or July 2022 but pretty much no matches at all on tinder and Bumble and only 16 matches on Hinge so far. I am 22 now and kept my filter as 18-26 on them so 3-4 years in both directions. Last month, I did get some matches on Hinge. First was a 19 year old and her replies were slow but she did reply to me but after I asked her out, she unmatched me. Then got matched by a 22 year old who completely stopped replying after matching. Then got matched by an 18 almost 19 year old girl with whom I had a decent convo but her replies were all 1-3 words and then got unmatched by her. Then got matched by a 20 year old who too ghosted me the same way like the 22 year old did. Then didn’t get a single match for weeks and today finally got a match today on Hinge. She is also 18 almost 19 but she only replied once and isn't replying further anymore and she eventually unmatched me too. Isnt it brutal? Why match if she was gonna unmatch?

I think it is amazing how all this turns around when you get older.. My Uncle is around 55, super nice guy.. Got Divorced recently... He is doing On line dating , with woman his age, and he gets Non Stop actvivity, dates. He is just an average looking guy, a little overweight, He get so many dates he can't afford to go on all of them.. Seeems after 50, guys hold all the cards! LOL
