I don't seem to be able to fit in with any of the atheist groups. Spending every single day targeting theist, even if they are a troll, is not normal. How do people manage to fixate on one thing and go on and on and on about it every day?
At some point the atheists started making anti-gay insults at the theist..posted a picture of porn and proceeded to making sexist remark.
Who in their right mind would wanna be a part of group like this?
Humans in general are disgusting. Hatred runs deep in many souls. Doesn't matter their color, sex, or their ideology.
They all fight the same fight. With hatred in their heart. And their fight is a simple one. It's always the same and so easy to recognize. They fight against someone different than themselves, And believe the flag they sail their ship of hatred upon, is the flag of justice for the world. That their hatred is justice. And the most disgusting part is that they refuse to acknowledge that blatant and putrid part of themselves. They call themselves peace. And they call themselves hope.
But aside from all that I'm still a weirdo and have got to know... If that place hooked up with SW, and all their people met all our people.. How do you think that'd all go down?
@AuRevoir Bad, it feels worse in those groups partly because they have public chats besides threads. And it seems to be even less monitored.
What you said is very similar to one of my favorite poems.
Part of why I sought out the groups is finding ex-muslims around this region, all I ended up running unto is too far away and too much detachement for me to handle right now.
I guess it's a pack mentality kind of a thing.. Almost like they revel in every conflict that they either start, or that presents itself..
Well I hope in time, that the friendships and people who could empathize with you, come your way... I know that it's never easy.. Feeling so alone, and wanting someone to connect with..
@Jackaloftheazuresand This is probably the best answer I think, I said something like it seems like they're internally angry, but your answer is more plausible.
@NerdyPotato I muted then left so many groups in there. Too many things make so little sense.
They know LGBT are being targeted by religious groups but they would still call someone gay and mock them for their feelings towards their religious figure. They have this one group to talk about oppressed Muslim women's rights, but I saw them posting memes that objectify muslim women and target them, mockery and extreme prejudice talking about killing them all.
At one point I asked if it was dark humor, since I can miss on social cues and context, but no they confirmed it was serious.
And then they told me that the internet is probably not the place for me. I hear that one lot because they want to talk shiit but not get criticized for it, they'd trivialize something because it is just the internet but take offense to criticism.
There is lot I can rant about..but yes, it is definitely worse than the atheists here.
I actually think the same, it's also caused by internal anger, people like that are genuinely angry so they take it out on others... it's a power thing. Kind of sad. I wish I knew what app, I'd join just to stick up for the person being bullied but I know you don't want to say so that's alright with me. Just that, it's not okay.
