Can you recommend some quality, free dating sites?

I am considering online dating again and truthfully am not keen on putting up funds on something that may fail, especially when I am tight on funds. I am interested in particularly dating in my area. I know that's probably asking for too much already, but are there any free, QUALITY dating sites out there you can recommend? Thanks in advance!

@ImRileyTheDog not all of them. I know some have limited features, and some have trails, and there are some that are free, but from what I've heard is basically a hook-up site. Definitely not looking for that.
