I danced in tonight’s drum circle 🫣

The rhythm of the drums was oh-so tempting! It was my man who actually talked me into it. When I couldn’t take it anymore, following that and my love’s ushering, I went and danced along with a couple other women who decided to lose themselves. It’s tradition for women to dance in these rhythm circles and I can say I had an absolute blast dancing tonight! The drumming was accompanied by my sister — the host of the party — playing harmonica along with the drumming in a totally improvised musical arrangement. A few were telling me I stole the show, but I think they were just being nice because they know who my sister is, lol. But it doesn’t matter. I had fun and would do so again.
