Jockey William Pike is back in Perth after a 12 month stint over east
He left Perth because the Western Australian horse racing fraternity demanded all jockey's be vaccinated.
Pikey would not get vaccinated so went east.
He returned when vaccination was no longer mandatory.
He was/is the most winningest jockey in Perth but I rarely back his rides because they are usually short priced favourites and pay pitiful dividends.
Yesterday one of his rides was The Astrologist - at 16 to 1.
So I decided to put 5/5 on it.
Mr Pike got it home by a half head and Gusman collects $106.50.
