Have you ever tried Frybread?

Native American cuisine.
JamesBugman · 56-60, T
In England they give you deep fried toast cooked in bacon fat for breakfast. Toss an egg on it and you're all set.
What is Frybread like? How do you make it?
Peaceandnamaste · 26-30, F
@JamesBugman you can make it with flour, water and salt and you also can fry it in lard or oil.

Corn flour is what I use. The bread is meant to be flat so no yeast.
@Peaceandnamaste It still needs a leavener of some sort, many of my Native Friends use baking powder and soda.

I love fry bread! So good and good for just about any meal
No...but I've had Welsh Baicakes (I think I spelt that wrong) , they are a basic sweet dough baked on a stone.

I have made flatbread with just flour salt and butter before ....but Imagine that's different to fry bread

Sprinkled with cinnamon sugar while still hot makes an Awesome beaver tail treat :)
