I keep seeing this propaganda on youtube saying some canadian want to be american.

I havent personally met a single person who wants that.

Alot of the media iv seen over the years depicts the general american public as phsychotic, dangerous or mentally deranged.

Almost everyone i know despises the idea and the government is fighting against this ridiculousness.

If your someone who wants to be american, go live there.

Iv even seen times when people from other countries are interviewed on the street. When asked if theyre american they say "no, I'm educated".

Does america actually know what other countries think about them? I understand it's all patriotism and pride but maybe its a little too much?

The only place you'll see that on YouTube is from some American troll who doubles as an American Patriot during Insurrections on America's Capital Building, who still believes that the USA is the greatest show on earth and that everyone in Canada is breaking down the border wall to become an American citizen.

You don't have to look any further than the Canadian Immigration website to see that there are actually 2000+ Americans each day who attempt to become Canadian citizens, but most of whom do not qualify to even come across the border for a single day to Canada because of previous DWI infractions they incurred in the USA which bans Americans from ever coming north across the Canadian border.
