We really aren't that much different than each other.
Like differences between different regions of the US and different regions of Canada aren't any more or less than the differences from each side of the 49th parallel.
Like someone from the NE-US would be just as different as someone from Ontario to someone from Arizona. Someone from Maine is just as much an odd duck to me as someone from the Maritimes up there.
The differences are what is typically a regional difference than an international difference. Not saying we're exactly alike but more similar than different.
