Hey, what's up with you Canadian Maple Syrup producers?

@Ontheroad In Continental Europe, maple syrup is really expensive. Same with peanut butter. When I was in America and I had no money I lived from peanut butter and accordion bread, because that was the cheapest method of getting the necessary calories.

@helenS I guess peanut butter being expensive in Europe surprises me. Maybe it's because peanuts are not grown in Continental Europe? While the U.S. is only something like 3rd in worldwide production of peanuts, a heavy percentage of its production is in the runner type of peanut - the type used in making peanut butter.

@caesar7 Maple Syrup is hard to find where I live. I have to order it online.
Another thing that's almost unobtainable is molasses. Nobody has heard of it.

@WandererTony I started liking molasses when I was in America. I always have a tin can of Appleford's Organic Molasses @home, and I use it to make my world-famous tomato sauce 😋
(It's terrible: I'm too American...)

@helenS thats sounds so strange to us. Hear we get it in loose unpacked condition made by villagers at their homes and sold unbranded. 😀
