The queen intervened on laws before they were presented to parlement and anything that could effect the Royal family was immediately changed
All of their wills have been sealed so the public know nothing
Very democratic but I forgot, nothing democratic about monarchs
And all paid for by the public
MartinII · 70-79, M
@Strictmichael75 Not all paid for by the public. And the whole point of a constitutional monarchy is that it is not itself democratic, but guarantees democracy.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Strictmichael75 Why should their wills be made public? Those are family matters; no business of yours, mine or the newspapers.

Also the monarch of the UK does not rule the country. Government and Parliament do that.

@ArishMell I never said the monarchy rules but interfere in laws being made in the uk, their wills as far as being sealed shows they don’t want people to know the extent of their riches, normal peoples wills are not sealed!

@Strictmichael75 Why should we know their private riches - though they are probably not the richest Britons now. Why should we know what are in their wills? Are you going to publish yours on here? No, I don't suppose you are, and neither am I.
