The French Government are "Cheese eating surrender monkeys".
But I dont know if they will cut electricity or not 🤷‍♀️
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@FreeSpirit1 IAs if the UK really care what happens to the people of Jersey as Churchill said" let them starve'

BJ and co have no interest in anyone
sue52 · 51-55, F
Its the Express for God's sake. Who would believe things in that?!
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@sue52 Added update from The Guardian 🙈
sue52 · 51-55, F
@PhilDeep Yes - I see it. You are right and I was wrong. But, this is what happens when you make poorly thought out decisions. Britain can keep French boats out of their waters but of course, they won't be able to sell their fish in Europe - I hope they like fish - a lot of it.
Nimbus · M
Typical French underhand tactics.
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@Nimbus Well stick to the agreement that was signed but what do you expect from a PM and his government that don't even read or understand the deal they signed and voted through Parliament
Maybe it’s time to start remembering things like this when say, sometime in the future, Germany decides to invade France (again). Then Britain can just flip ‘em the bird.
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@stratosranger Remember it was the Allies and not just GB that won WW2 and it it wasn't for the Yanks and their supplies we wouldn't have been able to last as long as we did
Correct @milkymum1
smiler2012 · 56-60
{@hatterm] did not russia carry out a similar threat on one of its former countries of russia. or i have i imagined it . if so i would of sort of expect that sort of dirty trick .but you would think better of the french stooping to such undrhand tricks
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Just the French, as usual, with no control over their own people. This time, the Fishermen.....again !

This happens so regularly it’s beyond a joke.
Hence the naval intervention
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@Picklebobble2 Oh yeah and we have such law abiding cisterns when we are abroad.

What do you expect from a Government that agrees a deal, signs, passes it in Parliament and has no idea what's in the deal

This is what you get for wanting independence it goes both ways
EuphoricTurtle · 41-45, M
Thank you for making me laugh, I forgot how funny articles from the Express are
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@EuphoricTurtle There's one from The Guardian now too 🤣
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Ban imports of all their French products. Show them who’s the boss.
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@cherokeepatti So its ok for the UK to stand up for its self but when another country do that its war, get a life what's good for one country is good for another.

Also stick to the agreement that was signed but I doubt you know what was agreed as the current Government certainly don't
tindrummer · M
here's news I haven't seen on my side of the pond - interesting
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
@tindrummer Apparently navy ships are sailing to Jersey. This is escalating fast!
tindrummer · M
BBC America reporting it now.
HairbrushDiva · 31-35, F
I don't believe they would.
