I Am British




Another Olympics where this little island nation totally punched above their weight. More golds than China and golds in a wider variety of events than any other nation. That includes the Olympic behemoth that is the USA. Absolutely awesome.

Lol yup, I imagine. I brought this up today with my mom. You've never seen eyes gloss over so quick. 馃檮 But seriously -- England, Britain, The United Kingdom, The British Isles ... all of these things are different and I think most Americans consider it all basically the same.

Certainly did us proud. Anyone at Olympic level demands a certain amount of respect, but as you say, GB really hit it out the park this year.
