Why can some people not understand that different cultures (including in “your” country) do things differently

I’m a libertarian, as long as it’s not illegal I don’t care what people do in their own homes. Some rightwing and especially woke people are the same in this way.

Well, with old laws on the books, a ton of things are illegal, just not enforced anymore...

Such as in college, my criminal justice professor taught us that there wasn't a single vehicle on the road (not even the police cars) that are 100% legal due to old laws that have never come off the books.

Just pointing out that there are a freaking ton of illegal things that no one cares about as well.

@sstronaut she means what people do in thier HOMES. you don't drive cars in a house, run into one maybe
@idontcareok I believe I know what she meant, and I doubt she was literally limiting it to just your home, as I'm assuming she means what you do on your own private property and on your own time is your own business unless you effecting other people's rights.

But the conversation was about rights and lawfulness, I just expanded on the point.

Struck me as odd so I talked about it...don't think I "care" so much.

I don't care what anyone does behind closed doors, al long as it's within the law. What I do care about is the rise in popularity of halal meat, produce of a barbaric act that should have no place in the civilised world.

Tolerance has always been exceptional, I don't know why
In jersey anything’s legal.. as long as you don’t get caught - Wilburys
