@SW-User They're smoked herring, so I suppose anywhere herring are and people have the means to smoke them 😉☺️ A lot in the UK come from Scottish waters.

@SW-User I don't know where kippers originated but I used to know someone in Scotland who made them commercially: herring smoked over oak chips. They were delicious.

@Really im in virginia in the US. So, i may be lucky enough to stumble upon them one day!!
