@Rhode57 Not here. Non-tropical eels breed in the Atlantic and live in Atlantic-coast rivers. I'm in a small town on the Pacific coast - where there are no 'indigenous' eels. A local taste for eel seems to have never developed - so they aren't imported here. Herring are plentiful but not favoured as a food, so kippers are likewise unavailable. And absolutely no Arbroath Smokies!
