What is going on at universities?

I don’t know what’s going on at our universities with students demanding ‘safe spaces’ so they don’t have to meet ideas which might challenge their own pre-conceived crackpot ideas. We’ve even had professors forced out for stating scientific fact rather than PC rubbish by these morons. Universities should be places where we are free to exchange ideas and ultimate places of free speech. If you can’t take that university should be no place for you!

Intolerance, hyper-sensitivity, not sure exactly what to call it, but it is rampant in our current society. Just one small example: watch the news and wait until they have something serious to report and then listen to the newscaster announce "We have the video but we won't show it to you because it might upset someone." Even the news can't be upsetting these days -- reality must be denied if it is uncomfortable for ANYONE.
