What is going on at universities?

I don’t know what’s going on at our universities with students demanding ‘safe spaces’ so they don’t have to meet ideas which might challenge their own pre-conceived crackpot ideas. We’ve even had professors forced out for stating scientific fact rather than PC rubbish by these morons. Universities should be places where we are free to exchange ideas and ultimate places of free speech. If you can’t take that university should be no place for you!

I agree.

Life is contraversial.

If one goes to university, it is to learn, not just facts, but new ideas and how to discuss them and debate theologies.

If one can't handle differing ideas at university level, then they should seriously reconsider why they are there.

I'm not perfect, I grt triggered by shit, it I can stand my ground and debate my opinions, beliefs and facts.

It's part of growing up.

This is nothing but an extension of childhood, primary school, molly coddling.

Safe places were once a refuge for the threatened.

Now it seems the whole educational system is expected to protect their students from harsh the reality of life.

But at university level, it shouldn't be a playground any more.

This new era of the adult child is toxic.
Parents controlling adult children
Young adults suffocated from developing.

Human emotional growth is degrading at an, alarming rate.

More than half the population is medicated by college.

What happened to "toughen up princess".
