It's so refreshing to see Muslims speaking out against radical Islamic terrorism

I'm just watching the news on the protests against the Taliban's rule in Afghanistan by devote Muslims and this is something that's very seldom seen from Muslims these days. It seems most of the time when talking about Islamic terrorism, most Muslims - if they even address it at all - just make it about themselves! They go on damage control and say things like "Not all Muslims are like that," or "Muslims still suffer the most from terror attacks!" They can't simply acknowledge the fact that it's a terrible thing where innocent lives get affected. That type of response is why things aren't going to change. That is unless more Muslims start speaking out against Islamic terrorism rather than turning a blind eye to it or making it about them. Yes, most Muslims are against terrorism and there are those who do actively speak out against it, but it's not enough. In order for things to change, it has to come from within the religion itself and the first step in bringing about that change is more of a collective effort from Muslims in condemning radical Islamic terrorism. One can only hope that the Afghans are able to take back their country from the Taliban and that can set an example for Muslims all around the world to start putting an end to Islamic terrorism.
