In Arabic we don’t say “goodnight “

Instead we say :
تصبح على خير
Which means “May you wake up to good things/news”
Or “May you wake up with goodness/ to all that’s good”
And the other person would reply with:
وانت من اهله
Which means : and you are of the good people

Tisbah ala kheir
^ the k here is pronounced like the Spanish “j” sound
Literal meaning is “May you wake up to Good”
And the response is
“Wa anta min ahleh “
And the literal meaning is
“And you are from its people “
