Did you know that some Muslims are required to marry their cousins? Isis has to be one of those Muslim groups right?

I think it’s the families that arrange those marriages. A lot of serious birth defects in some countries as a result and the couple will continue to have babies even with multiple children with those birth defects. Heartbreaking for the children.

@Eternity It’s disgusting. They are isolated from mainstream society and get by with it. There was a family here where a brother & sister were having brain-damaged babies and the doctors informed the law and they did something legally about it. I knew someone who was a neighbor to that family.

Hmm not sure what your point is here.. In fact many or even most muslims marry a cousin. They are often fairly distant cousins but arranged marriages are not at all uncommon, so in that way most marriages are 'required'
