@LordShadowfire Hamas might be the de-facto government, but it's not de-jure the government. They don't have a state army or national army, they're a militant group. They don't official relations with other countries, nor do they officially receive aid or munitions.

It's kinda like calling Vichy France the government of France, when they were disarmed and under German occupation. Granted, Hamas is ethnically Palestinian, but they don't have a standing army. Most supplies of Gazan are not supplied by Hamas, it's water, food, electricity, etc. comes from Israel.

For all intents an purposes, Gaza is an open air prison, with Israel as the wardens and Hamas as the biggest prison gang.
