I think people are calling things racist that are not.
4meAndyou · F
@specman Roads, for example.
specman · 51-55, M
@4meAndyou how are people calling road’s racist?
4meAndyou · F
@specman Pete Buttigieg...Secretary of the Department of Transportation in the USA says that certain roads are racist...because they direct traffic away from poor areas where people of color have lived for a long time, and create an overpass directly in their neighborhood.

Of course...the residents themselves LIKE the overpass because they can have outdoor parties underneath and BBQ's and don't have to worry about rain...and also of course...Pet Buttigieg is an incompetent idiot...😉

@4meAndyou yes that’s insane!
4meAndyou · F
@specman Yes, it is! Glad you said so!!!

@specman It is unbelievable how racist America was a century ago. Every area was loaded with racism. Things have gotten better, say from a 10 to a 6. I doubt if one can post actual pictorial examples of actual racist products from a few years ago. But such things were normal and they have tainted American society ever since. Imagine going to see the western movie "Boss N - - - - -" in 1975 and the title on the theater marque.

Did you ever hear of the Coon Chicken Inn restaurant chain, from the late 1920s through the1950s? It started in Salt Lake City.

Then there was N-----head Oysters, N-----head coal, N-----hair smoking tobacco, N----- mountain, N----- Head Point.

Google those and learn some real American history.

@Diotrephes you sound like an advertisement for blm
specman · 51-55, M
@Diotrephes see that’s just what I’m talking about. Because you read about you now spin a racist theory on everything. If I say I don’t like the direction that blm is going or I don’t like blm or anything. Especially if I say I don’t like someone and they happen to be black then I’m called a racist
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@specman
you sound like an advertisement for blm
I thought you would be open to learning some real American history but feel free to remain in total ignorance since that makes you happy.
specman · 51-55, M
@Diotrephes I didn’t ask about learning American History

In a previous comment you wrote:
I think people are calling things racist that are not.
I gave examples from the past of what most rational people would call racist. They are part of American history.

Maybe you can provide some examples of things that some people call racist but are not racist.
specman · 51-55, M
@Diotrephes if you won’t admit that then it’s certainly proves you are living in history
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@specman I was hoping that you would be able to provide some examples of things that some people call racist but are not racist.
specman · 51-55, M
@Diotrephes example is black tv to me is racist. But yet it’s not being treated as such.
A channel that called white tv would be considered racist.
vorian · 51-55, M
@specman every channel is white tv...no need to call it white tv
specman · 51-55, M
@vorian you’re racist
vorian · 51-55, M
@specman haha ok yeah...sure i am. Hilarious.
specman · 51-55, M
@vorian I knew it!
